By then he was already a member of his school's Drum and Lyre Corps playing the lyre while keeping a close eye on the drums. At the same time, he got his first real Polaroid camera and started shooting his way to teenhood and adolescence.

INTERVIEW

Interview by Mr. Tepel Maca of AZ FANZINE

When Did you decide to become a Photographer?
...
Actually when you take pictures you are really a Photographer,
by the time that I realized na gusto ko na photography ang maging profession ko,
i think i was born with a camera already in my hands so binigyan ko muna ang sarili ko
ng pagkakataon patunayan na para dito talaga ako. When i won in Riyadh KSA as Photographer
of the Day in 2005, I knew then that i could become a professional photographer. I resigned
from my job as administrative secretary and went back home. I enrolled in Photography sa FPPF
or Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation. That was when i I asked God for a sign to
show me if this is my destiny. Every workshop merong Competition required para makakuha kami ng
Certificate. By God's will the sign i was given? I won three awards in three different categories
one after the other. I told myself, now i am a photographer with some credit to my name. I knew I
was born to be one.
